The Shootings

Murder of LaBrian Lovett and Veronica Hill

The first tragic incident occurred in the early hours of January 16, 1977. Around 1:00 AM, a car sped through an intersection and crashed into a street sign in Atlanta. Just under a month later, on February 12, 1977, at approximately 2:00 AM, 18-year-old Dennis Langston and 17-year-old Deitira Tatum found themselves in a similar predicament.
