Severed legs identified as Krista Halderson were recovered July 14 near the Wisconsin River in Roxbury. Chandler was tried, convicted on March 17, 2022, and sentenced to life without parole; subsequent appeals have been denied, most recently by the Wisconsin Supreme Court on June 16, 2026.
